EverHome is a contractor matching service for Southern California homeowners. You describe your project — roofing, kitchen, bathroom, landscape, or pool — answer a few quick questions, and we match you with up to 3 local contractors who are CSLB-licensed, BBB-accredited, bonded, and insured. Each contractor reviews your project details and reaches out within 24 hours to schedule an on-site visit and provide a written quote. EverHome does not perform any construction work. We are a matching platform only.

No. Homeowners pay nothing to use EverHome. There are no upfront fees, no subscription charges, and no hidden costs. EverHome receives compensation from contractors when a lead is delivered to them — not from you. This arrangement does not influence how we match you. Our goal is always to connect you with the most qualified, available specialist for your specific project and zip code.

Yes, and we verify it before anyone joins the network. Every contractor in the EverHome network is required to hold an active CSLB (Contractors State License Board) license, maintain BBB (Better Business Bureau) accreditation, carry general liability insurance, and be bonded. Contractors are also background-checked. If a contractor’s license lapses or their rating drops below our threshold, they are removed from the network. You can independently verify any CSLB license at cslb.ca.gov.

You will receive quotes from up to 3 contractors who specialize in your project type and serve your zip code. In most cases, contractors reach out within 24 hours of receiving your project details. Response time can vary slightly depending on the scope of your project and contractor availability in your area — but our benchmark is at least one licensed specialist in contact with you by the next business day. Each contractor will schedule an on-site visit before delivering a written quote.

EverHome serves homeowners across greater Southern California, with particular strength in the San Fernando Valley. Our network covers cities including Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Northridge, Woodland Hills, Chatsworth, Canoga Park, Reseda, Tarzana, Studio City, North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Santa Clarita, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Culver City, Long Beach, Torrance, Anaheim, Irvine, San Bernardino, Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, and many more cities across Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Enter your zip code when submitting your project and we will confirm coverage in your area.

No. There is no obligation whatsoever. You may review all quotes, ask each contractor follow-up questions, and take as much time as you need before making any decision. We strongly encourage you to review contractor references, read their written proposals carefully, and verify their CSLB license at cslb.ca.gov before signing any contract. EverHome is not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.

Financing options are available on most projects through our contractor network. Financing is offered by third-party lenders and individual contractors — EverHome does not provide financing directly. We cannot guarantee approval, rates, or terms. Your matched contractor will walk you through the financing options available for your specific project at the time of your quote. Approval is subject to lender review.

Very little. To submit a project request you need your full name, phone number, zip code, and a general description of your project (service type, approximate scope, and preferred timeline). That is it. The contractors who reach out will gather the detailed specifics — measurements, materials preferences, structural considerations — during their on-site visit. The more detail you can provide upfront, the better we can match you with the right specialist.

Every rating in the EverHome system is tied to a verified homeowner who completed a real project through our platform. We do not allow contractors to solicit, incentivize, or self-submit reviews. Flagged reviews are manually investigated. Contractors who receive consistent negative feedback or complaints are reviewed for removal from the network. Our goal is to give you an accurate, honest picture of each contractor’s track record before you make any decisions.

Contractors interested in joining the EverHome network should email contractors@everhome.com with their CSLB license number and service area. Our team will review your credentials — including CSLB licensure, BBB accreditation status, insurance certificates, and bonding — before reaching out to discuss next steps. We accept applications on a rolling basis and prioritize contractors with demonstrated experience in their specialty and strong reviews from past clients.
